Progress
For this project, we have to know the meaning of brand, branding and brand identity in order to go throughout the next projects. The presentation must be simple but the messages are there. And we also have to do a case study for a well-established brand. The purpose is to find their brand mark, identity ideals, and mostly about the branding itself.
We did discussion about what are the kinds of brand is. There are more than just a products such as person, product, service, lifestyle/festival, campaign, business and so on. I did research for the definitions and also the brand that will be used for case study.
From my understanding I came out with definition of brand, brand identity, and branding;
Brand : A name of person, product, service, lifestyle or business, that has its own feature that distinguishes it from others in the eyes of the customer.
Branding : Overall personality and vision in order to create the successful brand for the customer and the brand itself.
Brand Identity : Visualisation of the brand which communicates their philosophy.
The rest of the explanation are in the presentation slides. I did my research for Campbell's Soup Company for my case study. Campbell's itself has been going for a long time and has grown bigger and successful. I did found a book that has informations about it. Thus, I'm going to use the brand for my case study.

Feedback
General Feedback : Every presentation must have its own visual since we are graphic communication student. Bad visuals will not attract the audience and it looks dull. Just like brand, we have to communicate well to the audience especially with visual.
Personal Feedback : It's very nice to have Campbell's as case study since it's not common but I still managed to compile a lot of informations regarding to their brand and its history.
Reflections
Experience : Though I managed to get as many informations that I could and also got my presentation ready, it's nerve-wracking indeed to perform presentation on the second week in front of a lecturer that I've just met and also I feel like I'm not as prepared as anyone.
Objective : I observed that the more 'visually-attracting' presentation is better especially when you're a graphic designer. Consider your presentation as your brand, art direct it and it will make your presentation more divine and attractive.
Findings : I think this is a good start for the whole module. It's a must to know exactly what is brand, branding, branding identity and how to distinguish them. I believe this is a part of experience that would be beneficial for the next projects.
