Description

You are to research and analyze a well-established cause/campaign/event branding as a case study. Identify the brand strategy supported with its brand identity (Naming, logo, slogan, brand story, brand message, big idea, promotional videos, website, applications, etc.). Additionally, you are to explain its brand experience with a customer journey map.

The presentation must be easy to understand, clean, clear and concise. Presentation will be organised individually.

Customer journey map is a diagram or several diagrams that depict the stages customers go through when interacting with a brand, from assessing information/buying merchandise online to supporting/giving feedback to the brand on social media.


Building a brand identity is a multi-disciplinary, strategic effort; every element needs to support the overall message and business goals.


Requirements / Submission

15 minutes presentation with a compilation of research results & case studies.

The examples are very specific. The customer journey map is a good start. The general look is good, however it's best to not be focused on the slides while presenting to show more confidence.




REFLECTION

Experience
The project was very similar with previous branding corporate identity semester. However, in finding informations about the brand is actually difficult since they didn't put much things on their website and I had to find the posters one by one. And their publications weren't much before 2017 which made it harder. The toughest part was to create the customer journey map. After few times reading over and over again, I still don't get how the customer journey map works until I managed to make a simpler version of it. On the presentation day, I felt that I'm ready but I need to fix my speaking skills because I lack a lot.

Observation
To market a music and arts festival, there are a lot of things to do. It's not as easy as to put ads and that's it. There is a progressive marketing in promoting until they reach the expected numbers of audience. 

Findings
The customer journey map really opened my eyes about how one brand can manage to reach customer with a complex progress. And branding isn't just about creating the identity but there are strategies  to market the brand. And every brand have their own strategies.
