Description
You are to collect 20 logos (the more the merrier) weekly (flyers, price tags, labels, packaging, etc. Logo is everywhere!) There will be an open discussion on why you love (or hate) it. Study how the graphic elements, typography, colours build the brand identity and accompany each logo with a short write up.

To gain knowledge on how a logo is developed




Progress

We had to collect 20 logos weekly from anywhere such as flyers, price tags, labels, packaging, etc. as long as it's not printed by ourself. We had to talk about what the brand is about and our opinions about the graphic elements, typography, and colours. Here are 10 of the best collection and rationale. 
These are chosen since the logo they created represents the brand very well.

Feedback

Week 2 
It was a group discussion and each person shares which they like or didn't like. We have to be very clear about each elements from the logo.

Week 3
It's very analytical. It'll be better if I find more about the brand and wrote it down on the scrapbook to give a clear explanation. I have to learn to differentiate which one is the brand and which one is the product.

Again good work with the analysis

Keep up with the work and find the last 20 logos


Reflection

Experience : At first it was easy to find logos around me and I had fun doing that. The process of analysing was hard as I need to know what the brand is and why they created this particular design for their logo. And after the few weeks,  finding different logo is a challenge. I try to look from magazines, stickers, flyers and made me feel like I appreciate logo very much. It was a fun journey by doing this project.

Observation : The more we understand the brand, the more relevant the logo is to the brand. I see many logo that doesn't have any significant elements that represent the brand and it's not successful. And analysing became easier after I look up for the brand history.

Findings :  In this project I learned more about creating an identity for a brand. The brand's identity should represent the brand ideals. This is the way a brand can easily deliver message to the people.  And by this project, I gain more informations and practice my analysing skill.
