PROPOSAL

FEEDBACK

Week 2
Objectives were weak and not relatable enough. However there's a room of improvement. Think about what you want to do with the data you have as the objective. Work on the questions too.

Week 3
1. Citations must be in APA style.
2. Looks like this is a hypothetical study where you claim that the beer ads that have used gender stereotypes gain more demand on their products. Do bear in mind that hypotheses studies means you are open to how your data unfolds to determine if your hypothesis is true or not.
3. Your RQ1 should be "How DO beer advertisements with gender stereotypes ATTRACT the TARGET audiences?"
4. With that, work on a matching RO.
5. You want to study how beer ads with gender stereo types work so keep to RQ1 and RO1.

Work on the APA, there are some mistakes and just delete the other objective and question as it's not relatable and work on the first ones.

REFLECTION

Experience
I feel like I'm not ready for this module as it's a one step away from dissertation. It was difficult for me to think on what kind of research problem that I want to go with. And I was also confused when writing the problem statement since I'm not sure where to focus on. Since I'm not really experienced with researches especially in english, It was hard for me. I also got trouble with the APA citations as I never learned about it.

Observation
It's best to have a good problem statement as it's a foundation for the whole research starting from the objectives and questions. We really have to put our effort to create a precise problem statements or else it will confuse you at the end.

Findings
When you want to do a research, find something that you are interested in and something you want to go in depth with. Read more books or journals about your topic as it will help you a lot in creating the proposal.
